Cheesy Butter Beans

Butter beans are not just any legume; they are a hidden gem in the culinary world. With a little creativity, these beans can be transformed into a rich and creamy dish that delight the senses. these cheesy butter beans make the perfect topper for many dishes.




Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup (one small can) of butter beans

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast


Instructions:

  1. Rinse and dry butter beans by spreading them out onto a clean cloth. make sure the beans are dry before adding the oil.

  2. Coat the beans with olive oil.

  3. Spread the oiled beans onto a lined baking dish.

  4. Add the onion powder, garlic powder, salt and nutrional yeast and toss to coat.

  5. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes or until goldne brown.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool before transferring to a glass jar. Store for up to three days.
