Place the mushrooms and water in a frying pan over medium heat. Sauté the mushrooms for approximately 10 minutes until they become soft.
Add the red pepper strips and cook them for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the noodles as directed on the package.
Soak the edamame in hot water for five minutes to soften them.
After the noodles are done, transfer them to the frying pan and drizzle the sauce over them. Stir thoroughly and cook for five minutes.
Before serving, add the drained edamame to the noodles.
